About her:

She is a full-time teacher and researcher at Universidad La Salle, Mexico. Member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) and member of the International Observatory of School Climate and Violence Prevention, as well as the Network of Discipline, Coexistence and School Violence of COMIE.

Doctor in Social Sciences and Education from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, a Master’s degree in Political Analysis and Media from ITESM, a Bachelor’s degree in Language Translation from the Universidad Intercontinental, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UNAM. Her doctoral thesis won the Academic Mention 2021 from the UAM for the study carried out in theory and methodology and thus contributing to the scientific development of the country.

She has published research articles in national and international journals and several book chapters on school coexistence, rights of children and adolescents in education, violence in school, civic culture and culture of peace, among others, and has given several lectures and conferences on the same topics, including the American Educational Research Association, the Mexican Society of Comparative Education, the Latin American Congress of Sociology and the Faculty of Social Education and Social Work from the Pere Tarrés Foundation of the University Ramon Llull.

She is co-editor of the Revista Científica de Investigación de La Salle México and contributes regularly as an advisor to the graduate program of the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional 271 based in Tabasco.
