About her:

She’s a 31-year-old mexican graduated from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Azcapotzalco Unit of the IPN in 2015 as an Engineer in Industrial Robotics. Graduated from the Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering at the Sección de Estudios de Posgrado e Investigación of the ESIME Azcapotzalco of the IPN in 2017 with the thesis topic “Redesign of a revision knee prosthesis”. Currently, she is about to conclude the PhD in Mechanical Engineering Sciences in the Sección de Posgrado e Investigación of the ESIME Zacatenco of the IPN, in which her main objective is the design and numerical validation of various surgical solutions for the ankle joint in collaboration with the Surface Engineering Group and the Biomechanics Laboratory of the National Institute of Rehabilitation “Guillermo Ibarra Ibarra” of the CDMX. In addition to this, he carries out research work related to the area of tribology and surface coatings to improve the properties of biocompatible materials, mainly. She has participated in national and international presentations for the Universidad de Acolman in the State of Mexico in May 2021, in the VIII Annual Symposium of students related to Materials Science and Engineering for the UNAM in November 2020, in the 2nd International Congress of University Development for the State Technical University of Quevedo (UTEQ) in Ecuador in December 2020 and the 46th International Conference on Metallurgical Coatings and Thin Films in 2019 in San Diego, CA, USA. In addition, he has six certifications in the SolidWorks mechanical design package obtained in 2021 by Dassault Systemes, which are: CSWA (Associate), CSWP (Professional), Advanced Surfacing, Advanced Drawing Tools, Advanced Sheet Metal and Advanced Weldments.
