About her:

Holds a degree in Chemistry from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a Master’s degree in Chemical Sciences from UNAM, specialising in ceramic materials.

Her interests include the development of advanced nanostructured materials with application in renewable energy devices, in particular for solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC).

She has carried out research stays with support from UC-MEXUS, at the University of Davis, California, to study the calorimetry of molten oxides at high temperature with Dr. Alexandra Navrotsky and with Dr. Kim Santae to study electrical transport properties in ionic conductors.

She holds a Doctor in Materials Science and Engineering and is a Professor-Researcher at La Salle University Mexico, in the Chemical Sciences Area; she develops low dimensional materials with the Research+Development+Innovation Group of Project Engineering and New Materials with application in environmental remediation.

She has 12 years of teaching experience and actively participates in scientific dissemination activities.
